On Wednesday, Lynchburg’s New Covenant School sent a team of volunteers to help us tackle an array of projects here at St. Dunstan’s.
The young men and mentors Headmaster Heaton sent our way were impressive. With their strength and diligence (and Mr. Tucker’s heavy equipment superpowers), we cleared a large swath of road for the future faculty neighborhood, felled and chipped trees around the Great Hall in anticipation of our groundbreaking, repainted the Porter’s House, re-graded our future parking area, and milled a huge stack of poplar board and timbers for the Great Hall. The group handled five large projects in five focused hours.
Thanks to the whole crew from New Covenant for their service to SDA!
