On Monday, September 29 — the day after our first Joshua Program cohort arrived — the Chapel of St. Dunstan’s Academy held its very first Holy Communion service, in our very unfinished barn.

We celebrated the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels amidst woodworking tools and wasps, chainsaws and bandsaw blades — and with angels and archangels and with all the company of heaven.

It was rustic — borderline redneck — and glorious.
